Former Major League Baseball player, and LSU Hitting Coach, Andy Cannizaro is in some hot water, even if we don't know why.

Word is that Cannizaro is abruptly on his way out as the Head Baseball Coach at Mississippi State. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"In Starkville, former LSU hitting coach and Tulane star Andy Cannizaro stepped down as head coach of Mississippi State.

It’s unclear what led to the move, but Cannizzaro released a statement that said he had a wonderful opportunity at Mississippi State, but unfortunately he made some poor decisions. Cannizzaro added that he hopes the fans and people affected will one day forgive him."

Cannizzaro is a New Orleans native who played his college ball at Tulane, and spent  2014-2016 with the LSU Baseball program.

His MLB career was limited, hitting only .222 with one career home run. He spent almost a decade in the minors, mostly in the New York Yankees system.
