Former Shreveport Chief Administrative Officer Brian Crawford has a new job. This afternoon in a news release, Willis-Knighton Health has announced that former Shreveport CAO Brian Crawford will start working work for them in the new year.

According to the release, Crawford will serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for the health organization. Crawford will start his new role on January 9th.

“It was the perfect opportunity for us to gain a person of great expertise and one who has demonstrated a deep connection and commitment to this community,” said Willis-Knighton’s President and CEO James K. Elrod in a statement.

“I am thrilled to be returning to Willis-Knighton. I feel like I never left. Being so much a part of my professional career – with my roles as fire chief, working with EMS and in the mayor’s office partnering on things that strengthen the community – it has always been home to me," Crawford said in the release.

Crawford submitted his resignation to Mayor Tyler back on November 21st, saying that he was accepting another job no matter the outcome of the December 8th election.
