Fleeing Suspect Arrested by Shreveport Police

On April 23rd, 2023, around 4:28 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress at 5500 Financial Plaza. As officers arrived on the scene the suspect vehicle was observed, and officers attempted to contact the driver. The vehicle refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued.
The vehicle eventually crashed into a residence in the 6200 block of South Lakeshore. The driver then fled on foot however he was taken into custody in the following moments. The driver was identified as Zachary Glass (12-9-84). Glass was arrested and charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, two counts of Hit and Run, and Resisting.
No injuries were reported.
