The chase for Longview High School's Haynes King has been going on for years now. The East Texas quarterback is recognized as an elite quarterback prospect by many outlets, and 24/7Sports.com has compiled all of those rankings to create a composite rank. According to their composite, King is the 3rd ranked dual threat quarterback in the nation, 79th overall prospect in the country, and the 13th overall prospect in the state of Texas for the 2020 class.

After being chased by multiple schools, and receiving offers from LSU, Auburn, Louisiana Tech, Tennessee, Baylor, Arkansas, Duke, Miami (FL), Ole Miss, UCLA, and about a dozen more, King has made is choice.

Former LSU Offensive Coordinator, and now Texas A&M Head Coach, Jimbo Fisher has swung and hit it big by landing King to Texas A&M.

Now, it's unlikely that King will be starting anytime soon, but King is clearly projected to be solid college QB, and with Jimbo Fisher coaching him along, he could become one of the top QB's in the nation.
