Massive Fight Erupts at East Ridge Country Club [VIDEO]

One of the most prestigious golf courses in Shreveport-Bossier quickly turned into Wrestlemania over the weekend.

Another week, another viral fight video coming out of Shreveport. This one is an immediate classic, rivaling the historic "cookie cake fight" from Superior several years ago. This morning, while completing my daily Facebook scroll to see what I might have missed overnight in Shreveport-Bossier, I came across one video at least 15 times.

Naturally, when one particular thing pops up more than once, there's a reason for it, so after passing it multiple times, I finally clicked play to see what all the fuss is about. Man, I'm glad I did.

Late on Saturday night, a massive brawl erupted at East Ridge Country Club, which is one of the last sites I would have predicted a fight taking place. The video itself is only 55 seconds long, so we don't get much backstory as to why the fight is taking place. However, you're here to see the action, and probably don't care too much about the why.

Judging by the short clip, I would guess this fight took place at a wedding, considering the time of day and the people we see and hear on the video. However, the guys involved all seem to be wearing golf attire, so maybe this happened after a few drinks on the 19th hole.

The video itself is pure entertainment, but the comment section on the original post will have you laughing for days. One Facebook user asks, "How the Hell are you going to get those grass stains out of those khakis?" Another says, "Guys stahpppp you can both throw hotdogs at the 2022 highland parade!" My friend Tim Fletcher might be onto something, he says, "Never mix Titleists with Bridgestones on a Saturday night."

One user wrote, "See this is why y’all need to unify as a city… the folks in Ellerbe can teach the folks in Cedar Grove how to fight without guns, and the Cedar Grove folks can teach Ellerbe how to film fights better."
