Dolly Parton will be among several of the Recording Academy’s special honorees of 2011. The legendary country singer, who’s already won seven Grammys in the past, will receive a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award at an invitation-only ceremony on Feb. 12, 2011.

The Lifetime Achievement Award honors, as one would guess, lifelong contributions to the recording arts. Its recipients are chosen by the Recording Academy’s National Board of Trustees. Punk icons the Ramones, singer-actress Julie Andrews, drummer Roy Haynes, classical music experts the Juilliard String Quartet and the folk revivalists the Kingston Trio will also receive 2011 Lifetime Achievement Grammys.
