David Toms Goes Low to Earn PGA Tour Card for Next Year

David Toms finished, what has been a down year for him, in fine form Sunday at the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina.

Toms wasn’t going to make the Fed Ex Cup Playoffs, but needed to shoot a 65 to get into the top 125 on the money list and earn his Tour card for next season. DT shot a 62, his best round in more than two years.

Toms finished 16th at the Wyndham and moved to 122nd on the money list.. earning nearly $650,000 this season.
