Whille we sit and wait on college football to slowly make its way to us again, all we can do is look back at last year and the past years to keep us going until the fall. So I have put my top 10 college football traditions. It is between pre game rituals, touchdown celebrations, and to the Army vs Navy prisoner exchange.

LSU   Mike the Tiger Roar.

Every now and then LSU will place Mike the TIger, the live tiger mascot, near the opponents and have him scream his piercing roar to hopefully intimidate them.

Army-Navy Game

Personally, my favorite the Navy vs Army prisoner exchange. The histrory behind it and just because these people are protecting our future here in United States of America.

Ohio State   Dotting the I.

We have all probably seen the insane performances by the Ohio State marching band but noothing compares to the historic spelling of the word "OHIO" and the dotting of the I.

Clemson   Howards Rock

This gives me chills just because i have seen Clemson touch Howards Rock and run down the hill but to see the team travel across the stadium and to see the true excitement build up is a reason we all love college football.

Oklahoma   Sooner Schooner

The Sooner Schooner has taking some tumbles through the years and also cost Oklahoma a huge bowl game because the refs didnt approve of the wagon to run around after a crucel touchdown. This tradtion for the sooner has been around since 1915 and is still in full effect today to give the fans a anothers to keep cheering.

Flordia State   Striking the Spear

Most of you have seen the Florida State mascot strike a spear into the groud at somer point while watching something about college football. There is much more to that the mascot his name is Chief Osceola and he leads the war chant (you know the OHHHHHHHHH OHHHH OHHHHHHHHH while chomping your hand) you know right? when the spear hits the ground the crowd goes insane.

Miami   Smoke Tunnel

The Miami Hurricanes have the most iconic entrances in college football, the started using fire extingusters as smoke to run on to the field. They started this in 1950 but didnt get much attention until the 1980s-early 2000s about it when they were one of the best teams in the nation.

Texas A&M   Midnight Yell

Texas A&M has been one of the top palces you do not want to be a vistor at because of the environment and the crazy student section. Texas A&M holds midnight practices through out the season to pratice new and old chants and get them perfect for the next home game.

Auburn     War Eagle

Did you know that Auburn doesnt say "War Eagle" for a reason? They have a live eagle fly around the stadium at home and Bowl games named War Eagle. War Eagle is a battle cry, yell, or motto of Auburn University and supporters of Auburn University sports teams, especially the Auburn Tigers football team. War Eagle is a common term of endearment, greeting, or salutation among the Auburn community.

Hawaii    Ha'a War Chant

The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team adopted the haka as a pregame ritual during the 2006 season. [19] Originally, Tala Esera, who played high school football at Kahuku High School, introduced the haka to the team, and during the 2006 season, star quarterback Colt Brennan led the team in performing the haka. The team's 2007 campaign
