Chevy Corvette Goes on Auction Block Saturday
Several vehicles, including a Chevy Corvette are on the auction block this weekend.
Caddo District Attorney James Stewart will auction off several vehicles seized during narcotics investigations. The 2006 Corvette was taken this from a suspected methamphetamine dealer.
The auction will be held this Saturday, January 7th at the Lawler Auction in Oil City beginning at 10am.
Buyers will have a chance to preview and inspect the vehicles on Friday from 1pm to 5pm.
You can access photos, lists, terms, and even place absentee bids on the auctioneer's website.
The 2006 Chevy Corvette featured in the auction was seized from Kylan Harvey after narcotics agents found him possession of 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Agents also found him in possession of digital scales and $3,986 in cash. Through the investigation, agents learned that Harvey had purchased the Corvette with funds used to sell drugs. In October, Harvey pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Other drug seizure vehicles include a 2001 Audi, a 2002 Honda Accord, and a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice that will be sold along with about 75 other vehicles in a large vehicle and equipment auction on Saturday morning.
