Brian Hammons, Captain of the Krewe of Centaur, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and  Erin McCarty about their annual Mardi Gras parade, scheduled for Saturday (February 23) afternoon.

Hammons tells KEEL listeners that the parade, set to roll from downtown Shreveport at 4:30, is expected to draw as many as 400,000, with 3 million throws ready for area parade goers.

The Captain also addresses the weekend weather forecast, which calls for morning rain on Saturday, but sunny skies and a high near 70 later in the day. Questioned about the possibility of inclement weather, Hammons dismisses the possibility of a parade postponement with an adamant, "We're rolling, rain or shine!"
