On Wednesday night, Caddo Parish Deputies and Vivian Police discovered a body on railroad tracks in the north Caddo Parish town of Vivian. The tragic discovery came just before 9:30pm on September 29th.

The body was initially discovered by Vivian Police, who called the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office to the scene for assistance. The body was discovered in the 600 block of North East Front Street in Vivian, on railroad tracks according to authorities. Investigators were able to identify the body as a teenager at the scene.

Caddo Parish Sheriff's detectives, and their Forensic Investigation unit, took over the investigation Wednesday night. The Caddo Parish Coroner's office was called to the scene that night.

The Caddo Parish Coroner's Office has now identified the teen. In a release, the Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 15-year-old Sean Schoen.

Investigators add that the body of Schoen was discovered on Wednesday night on the train tracks by a family member.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office and Vivian Police Department are both continuing their investigations into the tragic incident. There has also been an autopsy ordered with the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office.
