Byrd Yellowjackets Sting Airline: Advance To Quarter Finals [Audio]

The Beehive was buzzing Friday night as the Byrd Yellowjackets remained undefeated after an exciting but close win over the Airline Vikings.  It was a duel til the end,  but Byrd came out on top 35-24 over the Vikings in Bossier  in the regional round of Class 5 A  State football playoffs.

Next stop for Byrd... the Yellowjackets will take on the Archbishop Rummell Raiders as they advance to the State 5A Quarter Finals  Friday,  Nov. 25th.

The game will be played at Lee Hedges Stadium in Shreveport.  Pregame starts at 6:30 pm with kick off at 7,  and you can hear all the action on your home for Byrd football,  AM 1130,  KWKH.
