The Bossier Financial Crimes Task Force is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who stole merchandise from Best Buy.

On 3/4/2023 a w/m subject wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans entered the Best Buy location in Bossier City. The w/m grabbed items and went to the register to check out. He counted out $1200 and placed it on the counter getting the employee to verify.

The suspect then picked up the money and folded $900 and gave the cashier only $300. the cashier took only $300 without paying attention to the amount. The male exited the store without fully paying for the items. at about 30 minutes later the w/m goes to the best buy location in Shreveport and returns the items for cash.

Best Buy was able to provided BCPD with a copy of the security footage of the incident and a photo of the suspect entering and leaving the store.
