Bossier Council on Aging Will Get Vehicle Donation

The Bossier Council on Aging will get a nice donationation 11:30 tomorrow morning at the BCOA.

As the agency kicks off its Senior Awareness Month celebration, Chesapeake Energy will donate a 2009 Ford F-150, formerly from Chesapeake’s work fleet, for use in the BCOA’s Meals on Wheels program.

The pickup will be used for meal delivery to seniors living in rural, hard-to-access areas of the parish, and will eliminate the use of employees’ personal vehicles and save on fuel cost reimbursements.
