What Shreveport Area Restaurant Has the Best Crawfish?
We are now in the heart of crawfish season across Louisiana and the prices have dipped below $4 a pound for boiled crawfish at many spots in Shreveport and Bossier City.
I've tried a few trays of crawfish so far this year and in one case, they were way too spicy. This raises the question I've been asking:
Who Has The Best-Tasting Crawfish In Shreveport Area?
We have conducted a poll over the past week and here are the results (so far).
1. Chuckwagon Crawfish 32.68%
2. Rubba Boot Crawfish 20.32%
3. Larry P's Boiling Pot 16.47%
4. The Crabby Crawfish 4.39%
5. Shavers 2.86%
You will find that the closer we get to Memorial Day, the bigger the crawfish will be. I also expect to see the prices fall over the next few weeks. We might even see the price for boiled mudbugs dip under $3 a pound by the end of May.
Have you taken our poll yet? You can click here to give us your opinion. We will tally the results again next month to find out what local crawfish spot is our winner.
If we are missing your favorite spot from the list, please let us know. You can send us a message on the KEEL App. You can also vote for your favorite on our poll if your hot spot is not listed.
