Arrest Made in Shreveport Weekend Shooting
Caddo deputies are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured Saturday night.
The shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. on West Antoine Loop. Amber Dupree, 30, was in a vehicle with Gerald Wayne Berry II and one other man when she was shot once in the che st by Berry. Berry left the scene and was later found on West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop by Patrol Sgt. Chris Woods.
Berry, 25, was taken into custody and charged following an investigation by Sheriff's Detective Vincent Jackson. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for aggravated second-degree battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
