Alabama’s Nick Saban Says Crimson Tide Team Is Not Where It Needs to Be

Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban has said that the Tide isn't where it should be. Could it be the team isn't shaping up for the upcoming season as fast as the former LSU coach would like? Are there any exploitable weaknesses that other teams might exploit this season?

According to Tuscaloosa News, Saban said, "I would have never told you last year at this time that our team is where they need to be, and we’re certainly not where we need to be right now. If we were, we wouldn’t have to go through two-a-days and summer conditioning and all that stuff."

Saban added: "I think the thing we need to focus on is what our team needs to do to be the team that they can be, every year you have to sort of reinvent your team in terms of roles that players have to play, and this year will be no different."

The Tide had a great season last year, but could that same team do as well this season against the LSU Tigers?
