A Walking Dead Fan Favorite Is Coming To Geek’d Con In Shreveport
Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is set to return August 19th-21st at the Shreveport Convention Center. The 2022 Geek'd Con will be the 7th show in Downtown Shreveport since 2015.
There have also been a ton of comic book creators added to the lineup for 2022. Including the creator of X-Men member Rogue Michael Golden, Marvel's Zombie King Arthur Suydam, and Geek'd Con fan favorite Roland Paris, among others.
As the world says farewell to The Walking Dead TV series this year, we're going to get a chance to celebrate the series with a few Walking Dead guests in Shreveport. Including Cooper Andrews!
In TWD, Cooper plays Jerry, a character that became a massive hit with fans and critics almost as soon as he showed up in the series. He was described by critics as the show's "new best character". Some have compared him to Daryl Dixon, as being some of the best characters the show created without having a comic book version to draw from.
In addition to The Walking Dead, you've seen Cooper as Victor Vasquez in Shazam!, a role he will reprise later this year in the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
To add onto his comic-book-related roles, Cooper also voiced Aquaman in the HBO Max follow-up to the 2018 Aquaman movie, King of Atlantis (produced by James Wan, who wrote and directed the 2018 Aquaman movie).
Beyond that, Cooper has been seen/heard in Halt and Catch Fire, Hawaii Five-0, Den of Thieves, and in Madden 21's Face of the Franchise mode.
We can't wait to hang out with Cooper this August! You can find ticket info at Geekdcon.com right now.
