Roman Harper was a mainstay on the Saints Super Bowl winning team. But for the last few seasons, he's been playing for one of the Saints most bitter rivals.

As the Saints started the rebuilding process, they looked to the past to bring in some leadership when bringing Harper back into the fold. By the sounds of it, Harper may have been a Saint in disguise the whole time he was away from the team...maybe.

Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Saints Safety Roman Harper told a Charlotte TV station he can’t wait to face his old team again. Harper spent the last two seasons with the Panthers, helping Carolina reach the Super Bowl last season. He says the thrash talk has already started. The Black and Gold host the NFC Champs on October 16th and travel to Carolina for a Thursday night game on November 17th."
