Memories of 9-11 were fresh in our minds yesterday,  as many churches ran slide shows and said prayers for our military,  firefighters and police officers, especially those who were directly affected in New York City. What were your thoughts about yesterday's memories? What strikes my mind's cord is then Pres.  George W.  Bush,  standing at the scene of  "ground zero" with his bullhorn,  vowing to get the terrorists,  who did this dastardly deed.

I was so proud of our president and happy for all the security measures that have taken place since that fateful day. We have increased security at our nation's airports, and every means of national transportation. And we cut off the head of the terrorist al-Qaida organization, a few months before this 10th anniversary.
President O'bama speech that Osama Bin Ladin had been killed by U-S Navy Seals was unforgettable as well.

The spirit of volunteerism took over America, as never before.
My prayer is that we keep the unity we shared on that day, and never forget the many stories of heroic activities that took place. Whether it was a firefighter pulling a person from the rubble, or a volunteer who gave blood or money donations. May God bless America, and keep her good and great!
