10 Louisiana Made Beers You Have to Try

I don't know why or how, but Louisiana has quickly become a beer brewing hot spot. From Abita and Parish Brewing down South to Great Raft right here in Shreveport and Flying Tiger in Monroe, there's just some AMAZING beers being made here in Louisiana.

Now, I know we all have our favorites and go tos. Heck, if my brain isn't firing on all cylinders or I'm just thinking about something else, my go to beer is Guinness. But, when my brain is actually working, I generally pick up something from this list. Great Raft, from right here in Shreveport, makes some truly AMAZING beers, a couple of those are on this. You can go right up to the brewery and get it straight from the tap. It's incredible.

Sadly, these are just my Top 10 favorite beers brewed in Louisiana, but there are TONS more worth trying. Not only are you supporting local companies, but you're doing yourself a disservice by not drinking amazing top notch beer. So, start here and work your way down the Louisiana brewery list. You will not regret it.
