Will Sean Payton’s Tattoos Keep Him in New Orleans?

There has been a lot of noise about New Orleans Head Coach Sean Payton leaving the franchise when Drew Brees retires. One of the teams he's being rumored to be joining is the Dallas Cowboys.

This week, Sean Payton decided he has had enough of the rumor that he will one day become the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. During an interview on WWL Radio, Payton said he’s got Fleur-de-lis tattoos that can’t be erased. According to companion reports, the tattoos are literal, not figurative.

But why does the "Payton is going to Dallas" rumor have so much heat behind it?

Payton was an assistant head coach of the Cowboys from 2003 to 2005. With the end of Drew Brees' career on the horizon, a lot of fans and on lookers believe that Payton will wrap up his Saints career at the same time.

Also, Dallas Head Coach Jason Garrett is entering the final season of his contract.
