Welcome to the work-week... how about a British Open final round to keep you company? For just the second time in Open Championship history, the final round takes place on Monday----the first and only other time came in 1988.  That's not the only storyline, of course.  Irish amateur Paul Dunne, who played collegiately at Alabama-Birmingham, fired a third-round 66 Sunday to join Louie Oosthuizen and Jason Day at -12 under par. Dunne is the first amateur to lead the British Open after 54 holes since Bobby Jones in 1927; Jones was the last amateur to WIN the Open as well, three years later.

One shot back of the three leaders is Jordan Spieth, aiming for his third consecutive major championship after collecting wins at The Masters and U.S. Open prior to tee'ing it up at St. Andrews.  If Spieth wins, he joins Ben Hogan as the the only golfers to win the three titles in the same calendar year---Hogan accomplished the feat in 1953. Lurking one behind Spieth is Padraig Harrington, a two-time winner of the British Open.
