Tim Fletcher: Saints and Cowboys Camps Get Underway

NFL Training Camps open in West Virginia and California today for the Saints and Cowboys respectively.

New Orleans will spend the bulk of camp at The Greenbriar resort in West Virginia, reporting officially for duty today after arriving Tuesday afternoon with their first practice on Thursday. Got it?

The Cowboys held an autograph session for military personnel at Point Mugu Naval Base to get things started in California on Tuesday. Physicals will take place today with the opening practice session set for Thursday.

Defensive End Jeremy Mincey, who led the 'Boys with six sacks last year, did not report. He wants to renegotiate his contract that will pay him $1.5 million in the final year of a two-year deal. Also missing: Dez Bryant, Tony Romo and Orlando Scandrick didn't join the team on the charter jet Tuesday, but will report today.
