The Dallas Cowboys welcomed Jeremy Mincey back to the fold after the team's leading sack-leader from last season threatened to hold out until he received a new contract.   Even though he didn't get additional years tacked on to his deal that expires after this season, the Cowboys gave Mincey a $500,000 raise, bumping his salary for 2015 to $2,000,000, to get him back to camp.

So, the Blue Stars avoided a fight off the field with Mincey and his representatives---but the team couldn't dodge a Dez Bryant inspired brouhaha on the field.  Unhappy with rookie Tyler Patmon's aggressiveness, the two scuffled on the field, which is normal for training camp competition.  However, Bryant sought out Patmon on the sideline when both were off the field, throwing a couple of punches in Patmon's direction before Mincey and other defensive teammates split the pair up.

Bryant and Patmon, both former Oklahoma State Cowboys, dapped and hugged it out after practice was over.
