Add Miranda Lambert to Team Blake. Shelton‘s wife will join him on ‘The Voice‘ this season. Along with Kelly Clarkson — who, as reported earlier, will be assisting Shelton’s team — Lambert will be an adviser to contestants hoping to be this season’s Javier Colon.

During interviews to promote her new album ‘Four the Record,’ Miranda Lambert talked about how the song ‘Over You’ was inspired by a car accident that killed Blake Shelton‘s brother Richie Shelton. As Lambert prepares to release the ballad as her next single, Shelton is talking more about the accident, the aftermath, and writing the song with his wife.

Miranda Lambert says one song on her new album reduced her and husband Blake Shelton to tears. The couple co-wrote ‘Over You’ about the death of Shelton’s brother who was killed in a car crash in 1990. It’s the second of five songs Lambert is previewing from her new ‘Four the Record’ album.

It's shaping up to be quite a busy year for Miranda Lambert. Not only is she celebrating her recent marriage to fellow country star Blake Shelton, but she's getting ready to deliver not one, but two highly anticipated albums.

Blake Shelton on Tuesday teased the title track off his upcoming CD ‘Red River Blue,’ which features vocals from his brand-new wife, Miranda Lambert. It’s a relatively melancholy song, about a man who loses his woman, and fans might be surprised to hear the happily married couple sing about such a sensitive topic.

It looked like a wedding of western proportions -  there were plenty of stetsons and cowboy boots.
