High School Football

There are only three games left in the regular season and the district battle lines have been drawn with our local high school football teams.

It's Week 7 of the 2015 High School Football Season and it's all about the District games for the rest of the season!

We're rolling into the sixth week of high school football season here in Northwest Louisiana and as district competition intensifies, this week will feature some awesome match ups!

It's time for those Friday Night Lights and the best of High School Football!  This Friday night, Airline High School Football Stadium will be the site for the 62nd Annual Bossier City Lions Club Football Jamboree. Gates will open at 5:00 pm and admission is only $8, Children under 6 are free...

High school football players in Colorado want to put the names of fallen military members on their jerseys instead of their own, but the school district rejected the idea saying it could open the door to similar requests for other causes.

If there's one thing we love here in town, it's some quality high school football.

Parkway High School's appeal of an LHSAA ruling was denied today after a hearing in Baton Rouge.  The decision means Parkway will be ineligible for the upcoming 5A state playoffs.

The Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers, who are the No. 1-ranked team in Class 2A and the defending Div. III State Champions, will play host to the No. 3- ranked Parkway Panthers tonight at Calvary’s Jerry Barker Stadium. This matchup of two stellar programs officially kicks off the 2014 high school football season.

It's finally here again.  It's time for those "Friday Night Lights" as high school football in Bossier Parish sees it's inauguration for 2014 this Friday night with the annual Lions Club Bossier Parish Football Jamboree.

Today, Monday, Aug. 4, football teams across the state of Louisiana can begin what the Louisiana High School Athletic Association calls its “heat acclimation week” or conditioning week as it’s more commonly known.
