As this is the final week of regular season high school football in Northwest Louisiana, several teams are still competing for a place at the playoff dinner table.
It's been a year of triumph and a year of heart break for some of our local high school football teams. As the Wide World of Sports used to say, "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."

The controversy around the LHSAA doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. For over a year now, the LHSAA has been fighting battles against threats from their member schools, state legislators, and now...themselves.
After some began to question the decisions of the LHSAA, some of the groups leaders took a defensive tone, which has only led to more divisiveness...
