Pumpkin Shine Says It’s Halloween Time!

Halloween is this weekend and already we're up to our necks in pumpkins. And, were they ever shining in Shreveport last night.

It was the 20th annual Pumpkin Shine for Southfield School and we have pictures for you to enjoy.
Pumpkin Shine is sponsored by SPAR, that is the Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation.
There were so many creative pumpkins carved by children and others making the parkway a runway of pumpkins. According to news reports, nearly a thousand families came out to enjoy the wonders of the season, and who would have ever thought you could make a jack-o-lantern look so different so many different ways.
Three schools with the most entries were awarded cash prizes.
Proceeds will help make Betty Virginia Park even more beautiful.
