Joint Chiefs of Staff Senior Advisor to Visit Barksdale

U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Bryan Battaglia, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (SEAC), will visit Barksdale AFB, La. May 20 - 23.

Highlights of the SEAC'c visit include a tour of Overton Brooks Veteran's
Hospital in Shreveport, La., and interfacing with Airmen during the Striker
Stripe professional development seminar on base, a forum designed for leaders
within the junior noncommissioned officer ranks from throughout Air Force
Global Strike Command.

As part of his duties, the SEAC's intent is to visit as many locations as
possible to talk and interact with leaders, warriors, veterans, military
families and communities throughout the country. The information discussed
during his session at Barksdale will be shared with the Air Force Global
Strike Command Chief Master Sgt. Brian Hornback at the conclusion of the
visit.

Media may have photo opportunities at the Overton Brooks Veteran's Hospital
and an opportunity for roundtable-style interviews following the Striker
Stripe Conference.
