Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival..Yum..Yum!

KWKH invites you to enjoy some of the best food in the world at this weekend's Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival in beautiful downtown Natchitoches.

It starts today and continues through tomorrow.  Grab a lotta hotta meat pies and more! It's the 9th Annual Natchitoches Meat Pie  Festival AND River Run at the downtown river bank along the historic Cane River.

This "best little town in the whole USA"  (according to Oprah Winfrey) was the backdrop for the popular movie, Steel Magnolias." The movie starred actresses,  Shirley MacLaine,  Julia Roberts, and Olympia Dukakis.

Admission is free to all events both days.  Today from 5  pm  - 11  pm,  enjoy live music, all kinds of beverages, arts and crafts, even dancing on the river.
