According to multiple sources, LSU wide receiver Travin Dural was involved in a car accident early Sunday in which he suffered a cut to the head.

Tiger Rag reports that the sophomore from Breaux Bridge was hurt in the accident around 3:16 a.m. Sunday around the 4400 block of Nicholson Drive. The magazine cited an EMS spokesman that medical personnel responded to an incident at that address and at that time.

WWL-TV of New Orleans reports that Dural bumped his head when the car he was in was hit from behind. He required several stitches on his forehead and was held out of practice on Monday and Tuesday. He was also held out of media interviews on Monday and Tuesday but was seen at the football facility and on campus with the stitches clearly on his forehead.

Dural currently leads the nation with 48.5 yards per catch and is second with four touchdowns. Les Miles said on Wednesday that Travin will play on Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe.
