LSU Outclassed by No. 13 Florida in SEC Quarterfinals

The SEC regular season Champion Florida Gators were too much for the LSU Tigers in Friday's quarterfinal matchup. Florida was in the driver seat for the duration of the game, winning 80-58.

Charles Carmouche led the Tigers with 14 points.

LSU has lost six straight to Florida.  The Tigers finish the season 19-12 under first year head coach Johnny Jones.

The Gators shot better than 50% from the floor and out-rebounded LSU 47-27.

LSU will wait to find out if they receive an at-large bid to the NIT tournament.
