The LSU men's basketball team overcame a 16-point first-half deficit to win at Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium for the first time since 2006, 57-51, Thursday night.

The win also broke a seven game road losing streak for the Tigers. Johnny O’Bryant led the Tigers scoring 25 and collecting 10 rebounds. LSU is now 9-8 in the SEC with one game left before tournament play begins.

The Tigers return to the Pete Maravich Assembly center to take on Georgia Saturday, March 8. The Bulldogs are alone in third place in the SEC with an 11-6 conference record. Tip off is set for 4 p.m. tomorrow and you’ll hear the game on 1130 the Tiger.

LSU Women Win in SEC Tournament

The LSU Lady Tigers snapped a six game skid with a 78-65 win over Alabama last night in the SEC tournament.  With the win, LSU advances to meet No. 2 seed Tennessee in today’s quarterfinal round.

Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. You’ll hear pregame starting at 4:30pm.ollowing the Lady Tigers tonight, 1130 the Tiger will join LSU baseball versus Purdue in progress. That game has a 7 p.m. first pitch.
