Unlike the LSU Men's basketball team, the Lady Tigers WILL be dancing during "March Madness." Nikki Caldwell's group is ranked 22nd in the nation and drew a #6 seed in the Spokane Region of the Women's NCAA Tournament.

What's even better is the Lady Tigers will get to play on their home court.  Baton Rouge is a host city for the first and second rounds.

LSU (20-11,) as the Spokane #6 seed, will play #11 seed Green Bay (29-2) in the first round on Sunday (March 24th) at 7:30pm.  Green Bay won the Horizon League Conference Tournament.  If the Lady Tigers win, they will play the winner of #3 seed Penn St. (25-5) and #14 Cal-Poly (21-10.)

You will hear all of the Lady Tigers' NCAA Tournament games on 1130 the Tiger.

LSU has won seven of their last eight games, and have really turned up the defense as the season winds down.  Nikki Caldwell has led the Lady Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in both of her two seasons as head coach.
