The LSU Men's basketball team is getting better as the season progresses. The Tigers won at home Wednesday night 65-60 against Arkansas. Senior guard Charles Carmouche had a career high 26 points.

LSU (17-9, 8-7 SEC) moved into a tie with Arkansas (17-11, 8-7 SEC) for seventh place in the SEC. LSU started 0-4 in league play, but have now won eight of their last eleven.

For Carmouche, 26 points is his career high in a college game. He played at the University of New Orleans and Memphis before transferring to LSU. He added five rebounds, two steals, two assists and held Arkansas' leading scorer to just four points.

Junior forward Johnny O'Bryant III was in foul trouble most of the game and totaled only five points and eight rebounds in 21 minutes, snapping his run of 11 straight games scoring in double figures.

On Saturday, LSU will make it's first SEC road trip to Missouri.  Tip off is at 3pm, don't miss the pregame show on 1130 The Tiger starting at 2:30pm.
