LSU Baseball in the MLB Draft!

Major League Baseball’s draft has been underway since Thursday. Several LSU players have been drafted while preparing for this weekend's NCAA Super Regional against Oklahoma.

LSU right-hander Ryan Eades was taken fourty third overall on Thursday by the Minnesota Twins. Tiger second baseman Jacoby Jones was taken in the third round today by the Pittsburgh Pirates. First baseman Mason Katz has been taken in the fourth round by the St. Louis Cardinals.

LSU prepares to face Oklahoma Sooner ace Johnathan Gray in Game 1 of the Baton Rouge Super Regional.  Gray was taken with the third overall pick by the Colorado Rockies.

Ruston High School outfielder Ivan Wilson has been selected seventy sixth overall by the Mets.
