Former LSU Tigers Head Coach Les Miles will be returning to Death Valley in Baton Rouge. At half time during Saturday's game against Auburn, LSU will be honoring their 2007 National Championship team.

Miles’ 2007 national championship team finished 12-2, beating Tennessee for the SEC title and then topping Ohio State 38-24 in New Orleans to win it all. Led by quarterback Matt Flynn and defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, became the first two-time Bowl Championship Series (BCS) national champion ever.

However, this celebration may be a bit uncomfortable. As you may remember, Miles was fired by LSU last year after starting the season 2-2. This is going to make for a bit of an awkward situation as many Tigers fans are trying to pressure the school into firing newly appointed head coach Ed Orgeron. By the way, Les is the guy that hired Coach O back in 2015.

This won't be Les Miles' only trip to Baton Rouge. Les still lives in the area and his duties working for the SEC network will bring him back to town November 4th.

In other news, Les told ESPN he hopes to be back on the sideline coaching somewhere next year.
