When you think of the terminology "no-hitter," you assume some pitcher has done the unthinkable in Major League Baseball once again. But that isn't always the case. Twelve-year-old Will Lucas of Fairfield, CT proved us all wrong, and at his age he's far cooler than how we were in our pre-teen years.

Lucas, who claimed after the game that he was well aware of what he was working on during the ballgame, was not aware that he would strike out 13 batters before the final pitch was thrown!

Lucas' stuff was working all night, even throwing "forbidden" pitches that managers tell their young aces to never use, such as the knuckleball.

After throwing the final pitch, which of course resulted in a victory over New Castle, IN, Lucas pumped his fists in the air, then his teammates did the traditional piling of the teammates on the mound. All team manager Tim Porter had to say was, "I think we did some really good things here."

One makes you wonder if Lucas' popularity will skyrocket in school? Someone sign this kid up to a contract!
