Saturday night at the Dixie Haunted Corn Maze,  four teenagers and I were spooked from the suspenders down,  as ghosts and scary movie characters jumped out from behind the stalks.

It seems like everyone waited until the last haunting night to enjoy being scared silly.   In  fact,  this year I was more scared than I was last year,  especially walking down the Haunted Forest Trail of Screams,  and I screamed plenty.

Especially when the spooky dude chased me out of the Forest with a chain saw.  I knew when he said,  "Don't be last" (coming out of the forest) that something was up.    I turned around,  and there he was busting out of the tunnel with a chain saw.  I took off running as fast as I could,  screaming,  "He's got something! He's got something..RUN! RUN!

My kids were laughing at me so hard they were crying.

You can still enjoy the Dixie Corn Maze through Saturday night.  It's no longer haunted, but you can try to find your way out of the corn maze,  take a hayride,  play games, and there's always the pumpkin patch.  Check out their website for directions and prices.
