A Trekki, who spent years and money turning his bachelor pad into a replica of the Starship Enterprise,  is losing his far out apartment in a divorce settlement.

58-year old fanatic Tony Alleyne got divorced,  and decided to live his  Trekkie fantasy to the utmost by transforming his place into the interior of the space ship.

For the last ten years, Alleyne has given his apartment in Leicestershire, England  a full-scale makeover that looks just like the console of the Enterprise from Star Trek. It even has flashing lights and the “beam me up” transporters that Scotty manned.

It cost him about $6,500 to do the unique renovation, but he claims it would’ve cost  thousands if he had hired workers.  He did the work himself.

The problem comes in because Alleyne didn’t actually own the apartment. And his ex-wife, who does, recently decided that she wanted to sell it, and that to appeal to more potential buyers all the ‘Star Trek’ fun had to go.

What are the chances of finding another bachelor  in England who’d pay big bucks to live in the Starship Enterprise?

Here are photos of this out-of-this-world pad.
