DISH and ESPN have agreed on a deal that will make the SEC Network available nationwide.

The multiplatform SEC Network is set to launch on August 14 and thanks to DISH, fans will be able to watch across the United States. The deal is part of a long-term distribution agreement announced by DISH and the Walt Disney Company.

DISH will become the first nationwide television provider for the network.

Fans will be able to watch the SEC Network as a part of DISH's America's Top 120+ and higher packages. Subscribers will also have access to live events that are scheduled for the network's digital platforms. That means they can connect anytime on their television, computer, tablet or mobile device.

The SEC Network is scheduled to air more than 1,000 live events this year, including football, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball.

Details of the agreement have not been released at this time.
