Brad Maul from General Hospital at TCMHF

Remember General Hospital with Luke and Laura, and Doctors  Monica and Steve Quatermain?  Well, this weekend actor Brad Maul,  who played Dr.  Tony Jones in the hit soap,  will be emceeing the Texas Country Music Hall of  Fame Induction Show in Carthage.

Brad is one of this week's guests on the KWKH Morning Show with Elaine.

He said he left the show in 2006 because he wasn't on it enough,  so he asked them to kill him off,  and they did!

Brad played Frisco Jones'  brother and had a dramatic death bed scene.

He will be in Carthage this Saturday night as master of ceremonies of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Induction Show.

Brad was nominated for two daytime Emmys and starred in many TV shows, like Threes Company, the White Shadow,  Two Close for Comfort and others.

He also recorded a country and western album, "Livin' It Up."
