It's never a surprise to see LSU football well represented on defensive player of the year lists. So when the Nagurski Watch List came out, seeing 4 LSU players didn't really surprise anyone.

Not saying we should be surprised by Louisiana Tech being represented, but it's still nice to see. Here's the Louisiana representation according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU and Alabama lead the country for the number of players on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch list, which goes to the nation’s best defensive player in the country. LSU representatives are Jamal Adams, Kendell Beckwith, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux and Lewis Neal, who led the team in sacks last season with eight.

Louisiana Tech’s Xavier Woods is also on the Nagurski Watch list. The West Monroe native had 56 tackles and three interceptions last season."
