After suffering a massive heart attack that nearly cost him his life, Haughton head football coach Rodney Guin has been cleared by his doctors to coach from the sidelines according to Roy Lang III of the Shreveport Times.

Guin suffered the heart attack in April and was hospitalized for 29 days in Dallas. Despite still undergoing physical rehabilitation, the coach will be on the sidelines of Harold Harlan Stadium for the Buccaneers opener Sept. 5 against Woodlawn.
