It has been a perfect season for the LSU Tigers with 13 wins and no losses.

They now are poised to win the SEC championship game this Saturday against the Georgia bulldogs in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

KWKH will have all the action for you with pre game at 1 pm and kick off at 3 pm.

Interesting to note that if LSU beats Georgia,  they will face the Alabama Crimson Tide a  second time this season on Jan. 9 in the Allstate BCS National Championship Games.   LSU defeated Bama in Tuscaloosa on Nov. 5th in overtime with a last second field goal, 9-6.

The #2  Tide has wanted a re-match and will get it unless LSU loses to Georgia.   If the Tigers beat the bulldogs Saturday, they will finish with a perfect 14-0 record.  That would go down as the greatest season in SEC history.

After polishing off Auburn  Saturday,  Bama gets to wait.  Sports writers can't think of a scenario that would knock them out of one of those top two spots in the final BCS standings, which puts the Tide in great shape. They’re going to get their rematch with LSU, unless the Tigers cave to Georgia, and won’t even have to play another game.

Let's look at the #6 Arkansas Razorbacks. There was some thought given to moving Georgia up, but the Hogs are still a top 10 team nationally and would likely be playing for a championship somewhere if they were in any other division than the SEC West.  Bobby Petrino guided the Hogs to their second straight 10-win season, but they lost by a combined 48 points to Alabama and LSU.

This puts me in a rather precarious position,  raised an Alabama fan, but now an LSU Tiger fan. I guess you could say I can't lose.

One thing's for sure.  We're in for some fantastic final SEC and national college football action. Great nationally because  the top teams are in the SEC.
