Walmart officials are apologizing for selling a Christmas sweater showing Santa Claus in the midst of a cocaine binge. The sweater, called "Let It Snow," was previously available only on the stores website and for sale only on its Canadian site.

In a release, Walmart explained that the sweater was indeed sold on their site, but by an outside vendor, which they say i something not uncommon:

"These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart's values and have no place on our website," Walmart said in a statement on Saturday. "We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offence this may have caused."

Online pictures of the "Let It Snow" sweater depict an exceedingly jolly Saint Nick seated at a table with a Scarface-sized mound of cocaine. The online description read, "We all know how snow works. It's white, powdery and the best snow comes straight from South America. That's bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole."

Other than the original apology, Walmart has declined to make further comment.
