Texas Rangers Pitcher Donates Home And 100 Acres To Charity
Texas Rangers Pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife are donating their almost $10 Million lake mansion in Branson Missouri to charity. They announced they're donating the house and property to Camp Barnabas which is a local charity that helps people with special needs and chronic illnesses.
The house is 32,000 sq ft and sits on over 100 acres of land with more than 1,700 feet of shoreline overlooking Table Rock Lake. The charity right now runs a summer camp and a 2 year associate degree at a local college but with this huge donation they're hoping to expand that to more year round activities. The home was built in 2012 and went up for sale last summer before the couple decided to donate it.
Camp Barnabas has helped more than 75,000 people since the start of the camp. Check out the pictures of their breathtaking house by clicking HERE!
