Shreveport is setting themselves up for years to come.

For once, Louisiana isn't playing from behind.

The world is changing. And, for once, the state of Louisiana and Shreveport are out in front of that change instead of being 10 years behind it.

Not only will this make food delivery easier and more competitive in Shreveport, it also gives residents another way to make a little cash on the side.

In total, 330 projects aimed at teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects have been funded by the program.

But being a teenager in today's society, if you don't have a phone, there's something 'wrong with you' or you're 'not cool.' Could that be one of the reasons that teens are addicted to their phones?

We definitely live in the age of technology...cell phones, tablets, iPads, game consoles - it seems that every kid has at least one electronic device. No one is uncomfortable with a five-year -old playing an X-Box. But what about a five-year-old with a cell phone??
