The State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport is now open and you're sure to find lots of fun and exciting things to do on the midway, at the zoo, on the concert stage, and on the fairgrounds in general this weekend.

The State Fair of Louisiana opens Thursday and runs through November 10th.

KWKH legend John Anderson was so fabulous at Saturday's free concert at the State Fair of Louisiana,  everyone was taking pictures and videos with their cell phones.

The State Fair of Louisiana was the place to be Saturday night as KWKH welcomed country legend John Anderson to the stage. It ended up standing room only as John tore into some incredible tunes with his John Anderson Band.

The ArkLaTex  Agriculture Council,  which sponsored the State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Show and Sale,   brought in a record $411,000 for 193 animals.  The money goes to 4-H'ers and FFA students.

Hundreds of thousands of people will end up enjoying the Livestock Show at this year's State Fair of Louisiana.  And,  perhaps the Junior Livestock Show and Sale is the most interesting and fun.

One of the most visited State Fair of Louisiana events kicks off today.  It's the Junior Live Stock Show and Sale.  KWKH will be there from 10 am til 1 pm.  Come on out and join us for some fun at the Ag building.
